Beau Coop WINTER 2010…
The Beau Coop ‘Frankly’ zip shoe from Face Hunter:
We are super excited to introduce Beau Coop to the list of brands stocked at Good as Gold!
Basically Carrie Cooper is a shoe-cobbler-designer whizz kid, who, after training in Portugal under a gentleman who just happened to own the rights to produce shoes for Eley Kishimoto and Bernard Wilheim she got straight down to it and began designing for these brands, landing her um, foot, in the doorway of Alexander McQueen (RIP) who propositioned her to create his McQ x Puma sneaker collaborations.
Back in Oz she hooked up with the Ksubi lads who convinced her to turn her talents to their brand, which she did, until the whole Ksubi Financial Crisis wave hit…which is actually pretty good for us because…
Her own collection, under the moniker Beau Coop was born. Based around some nickname her mates coined for her at art school the range is modern minimalism at it’s best, with just enough features to keep each pair next level interesting, but also subtly directional enough to keep ‘em timeless too!
